College isn't just your classroom experience, getting involved in extracurricular activities rounds out your learning at U-M. There are several opportunities to get involved on campus.
Be active in groups for student veterans
The Student Veteran Association at the University of Michigan is a student organization that connects student veterans, advocates for improved campus services, and serves as a social support. SVA-UM is a member chapter of the national Student Veterans of America organization.
Find an organization you are interested in
There are over 700 student organizations at U-M! To find one you may be interested in, the Office of Student Activiites and Leadership maintains Maize Pages - a listing of registered student groups. You can also attend Festifall on Thursday, September 4 at the Diag to meet members from hundreds of groups.
Start your own organization!
If you can't find a group that meets your interest, you can start it! Contact the Office of Student Activities and Leadership for advice getting your group started and registering it with the University.
