GI Bill/Tuition Assistance Programs

The United States government has established a variety of educational assistance programs for persons serving or who have served in the Armed Forces. The Department of Veterans Affairs’ GI Bill Website provides extensive detail on each program. Also, some states and Veterans Service Organizations may provide additional benefits.

For access to most benefits, you must certify your enrollment at the University of Michigan. Certifying Officials for Veterans Benefits in the Office of the Registrar assist with this process.
