Transfer Student Orientation

Winter Orientation 2013

We are looking forward to seeing you for Transfer Student Orientation. If you are a newly admitted transfer student for the winter term, and have already paid your $200 enrollment deposit, you will receive an email to your University of Michigan email address (youruniqname@umich.edu) in mid-November with instructions for signing up for Transfer Orientation. If you have not yet paid your enrollment deposit, your email invitation to attend orientation will be sent to you approximately 1-2 weeks after you have paid your enrollment deposit.

As a new student at U-M, you are required to attend orientation. Transfer students are required to attend a 1-day Transfer Orientation program in December if it is offered by your academic school/college (see list below).

If you are unable to attend a program in December, or if your academic school/college does not offer a program in December, you will be required to attend the 2-Day Winter Orientation on Monday, January 7 - Tuesday, January 8, 2013.

Locate your school or college from the list below, and determine the date on which you would prefer to attend orientation. When you register online for orientation, only dates which still have open spaces will appear.
