Parents of Transfer Students
Transfer Student Parent & Family Orientation Fall 2013
Congratulations on your student's admission to the University of Michigan for the Fall 2013 term!
The Office of New Student Programs will send your student an invitation via email to attend a transfer student orientation, which is required for all new transfer students.
We also offer orientation programs for parents, spouses, and other adult family members of transfer students. We believe that family members play a significant role in a transfer student's adjustment to a new university. This program will offer you information that will help you support your student during his or her transition to the University of Michigan.
We offer several 1-day Transfer Orientation programs in May, July, and mid-August. For each 1-day Transfer Orientation program, there is a corresponding 1-day Transfer Parent & Family Orientation program.
