Transfer Student Orientation

Transfer Orientation gives students transferring from other schools information particular to their experience. It also enables transfer students to meet their peers which helps to ease the transition into a large University.

During orientation, students complete the necessary procedures for class registration, including placement exams and academic advising. Orientation is a required program for all new students, both those coming from high school and transfer students from other institutions, including the U-M Flint and U-M Dearborn.
