From the North (Flint)

  1. Take US23 South to M-14 (exit 45)
  2. Take M-14 West to Exit 3 - Downtown Ann Arbor (exit turns into Main Street)
  3. Take Main Street to E. Washington St. (approximately 1.5 miles)
  4. Turn left (East) on E. Washington St. and continue about 1.5 miles.
  5. Rackham Building will be on your left, just after Thayer St.

From the East (Windsor, Detroit and Airports)

  1. Take I94 West to State Street (exit 177)
  2. Turn right (North) on State Street
  3. Travel approximately 3.5 miles to E. Washington St.
  4. Turn right on E. Washington St.
  5. Rackham Building will be on your left, just after Thayer St.

From the South (Toledo)

  1. Take US-23 North to I-94 West (exit 35)
  2. Take I94 West to State Street (exit 177)
  3. Turn right (North) on State Street
  4. Travel approximately 3.5 miles to E. Washington St.
  5. Turn right on E. Washington St.
  6. Rackham Building will be on your left, just after Thayer St.

From the West (Jackson)

  1. Take I94 East to State Street (exit 177)
  2. Turn left (North) on State Street
  3. Travel approximately 3.5 miles to E. Washington St.
  4. Turn right on E. Washington St.
  5. Rackham Building will be on your left, just after Thayer St.

Parking Close to the Rackham Building

The City of Ann Arbor has numerous meters and parking structures for use. We recommend using the parking structure located on Maynard Street between East William and East Liberty (see the Central & South Campus map) or the William-Fourth or the Ann-Ashley Street structures. The rate is $.80 cents per hour. Parking from 8 am to 6 pm costs $9.50.
