Driving Directions to East Hall

For students who drive to orientation, parking will be available at the city parking structure on Forest St. between South University and Willard St. The directions below are to this structure, and are followed by walking directions from the structure to East Hall.

From the North (Flint) to the Parking Structure

• Take US-23 South to M-14 West (exit 45), then take M-14 West to Exit 3 - Downtown Ann Arbor. This becomes Main St
• Take Main St. to Packard (approx 1.5 miles), and turn left (southeast)
• Take Packard to Hill St and turn left (east)
• Take Hill St to East University (approx .25 miles) and turn left (north)
• Take East University two blocks to South University and turn right (east)
• Go two blocks to Forest St. and turn right (south). The Forest Street parking structure will be on your right.

From the South (Toledo) to the Parking Structure

• Take US-23 North to I-94 West (exit 35); then I-94 to State St (exit 177). Turn right (north) on State St
• Take State St to Hill St (approx 2.3 miles) and turn right (east)
• Take Hill St to East University and turn left (north)
• Take East University two blocks to South University and turn right (east)
• Go two blocks to Forest St. and turn right (south). The Forest Street parking structure will be on your right.

From the East (Windsor, Detroit and Airports) to the Parking Structure

• Take I-94 West to State St (exit 177)
• Turn right (north) on State St
• Take State St (approx. 2.3 miles) until you reach Hill St, and turn right (east)
• Take Hill St to East University, and turn left (north)
• Take East University two blocks to South University and turn right (east)
• Go two blocks to Forest St. and turn right (south). The Forest Street parking structure will be on your right.

From the West (Jackson) to the Parking Structure

• Take I-94 East to State St (exit 177), and turn left (north)
• Take State St. to Hill St (approx 2.3 miles) and turn right (east)
• Take Hill St to East University and turn left (north)
• Take East University two blocks to South University and turn right (east)
• Go two blocks to Forest St. and turn right (south). The Forest Street parking structure will be on your right.

Walking directions from the Forest Street structure to East Hall: Exit the structure onto Forest St. and turn left. Walk to South University and turn left. You will want to cross South University at either Forest or Church St. When you are across from East University St., turn right onto the plaza and walk past Ulrich’s Bookstore. East Hall is on your right. Enter East Hall at the third entrance, farthest from South University.
