Orientation Registration Process

Orientation Registration Process for Students

Welcome to the University of Michigan! You are about to begin the orientation registration process. This website provides you with valuable information, please read each page carefully. You will be asked questions throughout the process to gauge your understanding and you will have the ability to print out key information at the end of the registration process.

To begin, you will need your University of Michigan uniqname and password. If you have not yet activated your uniqname (campus computing account), please visit www.itd.umich.edu/uniqname. If you do not remember your password, please go to the password hint page and enter your uniqname. If the password hint doesn't help, you can call the ITCS Accounts Office to have your password reset (call 734 764-8000, Option 1, to request a password reset).

The Online Orientation Registration System is available these hours:

  • Monday - Friday, 6 am - 4 am (ET)
  • Saturday, 6 am - 11 pm (ET)
  • Sunday, 7:30 am - Monday, 2 am (ET)

If you are a newly admitted student for the Winter 2010 term and are unable to create your uniqname at this time, please read the appropriate Online Orientation Information (PDF).

While you are not able to formally register for the January 4-5 orientation program, please review the Online Orientation Information carefully for details regarding program start time and location. If you have been admitted for Winter Term, you should come to an orientation program on January 4, 2010.

If your uniqname has been created, please visit Wolverine Access at http://wolverineaccess.umich.edu/. Select "Undergraduate Orientation" and log in using your uniqname and password. Select "Register for Orientation" in your Orientation Center to begin the orientation registration process. We look forward to seeing you at orientation!
