The International Parent & Family Orientation program schedule depends upon whether or not your student is a transfer student in the College of Literature, Science and the Arts. Please review the information below carefully.
Check-in for the International Parent & Family Orientation program will be at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, August 29, 2016. The location of the check-in will be announced in late May.
If your student is a transfer student in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts, you are welcome to attend the optional sessions that begin on August 25. Check-in for these sessions will be at the Angell Hall Posting Wall on Thursday, August 25 along with your student.
Length of Program
The International Parent & Family Orientation Program is one day in length, unless you are attending the optional sessions as a parent of an LSA transfer student. Please note that the International Student Orientation is 5-7 days long, depending on the program. Please note that the International Parent and Student Orientation Programs have different itineraries.
International Parent & Family Orientation Schedule
During the International Parent & Family Orientation program, you will participate in the morning sessions with your student and then to attend special presentations for parents in the afternoon. If you are a parent of a transfer student in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts, optional activities beginning on August 25 will be posted soon.
