BEFORE CLASSES BEGIN
- Transfer Orientation
Required for new students, Transfer Orientation provides you with the tools you need to begin your Michigan career, including academic advising and course registration. Domestic transfer students will also receive the Transfer Tips email newsletter in the months prior to the start of classes. The Transfer Tips newsletter provides helpful information to prepare for your transition, including articles about living in Ann Arbor, parking, transportation, academic resources, getting involved, and more!
For international transfer students, your orientation program will depend upon your school or college. College of Literature, Science, and the Arts international transfer students (who are NOT participating in the Honors Program, the Residential College, or the Comprehensive Studies Program) will be invited to attend the LSA International Orientation (LIT). All other international transfer students will be invited to attend the general International Orientation.
