Before You Come to Orientation

1. Take the Wolverine Access tutorial online at www.onsp.umich.edu/transfer_students/. This tutorial will introduce you to the services available through Wolverine Access, the U-M’s online database system, and it will prepare you for course selection and registration at Orientation. Your academic advisors will expect that you are comfortable using Wolverine Access to search for classes when you meet with them at Orientation.

2. Make your travel plans and allow for enough time so that you can check-in for orientation on Monday, January 4 by the appropriate check-in time (see above).

3. Determine whether or not you need to take online placement exams prior to attending orientation or placement exams on the day of your scheduled orientation, as this will determine your check-in time.
