Dec 4, 2008 Michigan Union Pendleton Room This year we ended Mentorship with Winter Fest, a final event that doubled as a mentor recognition. Over 70 participants decorated gingerbread houses, played board games, and made greeting cards as they gathered one last time with their mentorship groups to say farewell. The 2008 Mentors of the Year and graduating senior peer mentors were also recognized and awarded at this event, which was planned and staffed by the Mentorship Communication Coordinators.

Gourmet hot cocoa bar Gingerbread house contest hopefuls ________________________________________________________________________ Mentorship Pizza Tasting October 14, 2008 South Quad Kochimaya Lounge Our second annual event drew Mentorship participants from all over campus to taste and rate pizzas donated from local businesses. This was one of the many events planned by our staff where Mentorship groups were able to meet, catch up and plan activities. Through our highly sophisticated nomination system, Pizza House was voted Best Pizza in Ann Arbor by Mentorship.
___________________________________________________________________________ Mentorship Student Organization Showcase September 20, 2008 This event was designed to expose new students to new leadership and group membership opportunities at an ice cream social--sundaes came from Washtenaw dairy, student run organizations came from all over campus! Student representatives from the First Generations student organization, Zeta Sigma Chi Multicultural organization, K-Grams service organization, FOKUS arts organization and others were invited to share information about their groups and encourage mentees to consider joining.
