Welcome to Michigan 2009 is September 3 - 7. This year's theme is "Your time. Your place. Your Michigan."

Submitting an Event

The printed program of events has already gone to press. Events submitted through July 5 were eligible to be included in the printed program of events.

You can still promote your event using UM*Events! Click here for an on-line tutorial on how to submit events using UM*Events.
 

Be sure to check the list of this year's Anchor Events and browse the UM*Events calendar to see what events have been submitted thus far in order to not duplicate events or program at the same time as a popular event. This will also help in reducing the number of similar events offered throughout the week.

Promotional Items

Promotional item orders may be picked up from the Michigan Union Sophia B. Jones room August 25-27 between 8am-5pm. We are no longer accepting orders, but will be selling any extra items there (check or shortcode payments accepted).

Help Recruit Student Performers for Welcome to Michigan

The Office of New Student Programs invites students and student performing arts organizations to showcase their talents at several events during Welcome to Michigan. If you work with any talented students, please encourage them to contact us for more information!
